Thank you for coming to your child’s Celebrations class this term. I visited the Celebrations class last week at Club Sports Park and I was so pleased to see so many parents watching their child’s class, supporting them and sharing in their success…
A big well done to all the gymnasts for their hard work and for ticking off more skills in their Student Training Diaries. Your children have been working so hard to pass their awards this term and it means so much to them to see you smile as they stand on the podium to receive their badges and certificates at their gymnastics club in Surrey.
If you didn’t come to Celebrations class and are wondering what you missed, here is an outline. At Celebrations class we invite mums, dads and friends into the gym club to watch their family member’s class and at the end of the class we celebrate the children’s achievements. Your child will stand on the podium and receive an Achievement Certificate and any badges and award certificates that they have passed this term. It’s a great photo opportunity and an insight into what your child is experiencing on their gymnastics adventures.

We are delighted that you enjoy coming to Celebrations classes and thank you for all the positive feedback. When your child looks into the crowd and sees your smiling face and hears your rapturous applause it really boosts their confidence and fills them with a sense of pride. Thank you so much for offering your heartfelt praise, building your child’s confidence and celebrating their uniqueness as they grow and develop as part of the Flair family.
TRAMPOLINING AT CELEBRATIONS
At this time of celebration I would also like to celebrate the success of the artistic gymnasts who took part in the 2018 Artistic Gymnastics British Championships at Echo Arena, Liverpool from 8th -11th March. Did you manage to catch any of it? Flair favourites Nile Wilson and Amy Tinkler dominated the leaderboard. Olympic medallist Amy Tinkler won Gold for Floor and Silver in the Senior All-Around and fellow Olympian Nile Wilson won Gold for Rings, Parallel Bars and High Bar in the Senior competition.
We are very excited that Nile Wilson will be a guest speaker at Gym Con 2018 – Europe’s Premier Gymnastics Education Event this June at Nick Ruddock’s (International Coaching Consultant) event. This is a hot ticket for any gymnastics coach and we have secured a VIP table for some of our lucky coaching team. The coaches are currently competing to win a seat at this special event. Congratulations to Coach Scarlett and Coach Holly who have already bagged their seat at the VIP table. Who will be joining them?

So thank you once again for your continued support of your budding young gymnasts. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and your children always blossom as a result of your kind attention.
Don’t forget to secure your place at Easter Tumble Camp which is taking place at Club Spectrum in Guildford on the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th April from 9am – 1pm and Trampolining Masterclasses are also being held at Club Spectrum on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th April from 2pm – 3.30pm. Places are disappearing fast!!
