On Sunday 23rd April the very first Flair franchise opened in Farnham forming a partnership with All Hallows School. Club Farnham is owned and operated by Club Owner and Franchisee ‘Coach Amanda Williams,’ mum of 3 (Reece, Carys and Megan) from Camberley, Surrey.
It’s a very exciting time for gymnastics with the European Championships producing amazing results for our British gymnasts. Olympian Ellie Downie, 17 years old, has won the all-around title. This is the first time that a British gymnast has won all-around Gold at a major international championship. The children now have great gymnastics role models, just like Ellie to look up to and in their new Flair gym club in Farnham can safely learn the building blocks to become the champions of tomorrow. There’s never been a better time to get involved in gymnastics.
WARMING UP
Coach Amanda ran a gymnastics launch day on Sunday seeing over 100 local children take part in a Trial Class at the new club where they got to try gymnastics, some for the very first time. The children arrived, excited and full of energy accompanied by their parents to take part in the gym club launch day.
The gym hall at ‘All Hallows School, Farnham’ was packed full of brand new, shiny and very colourful apparatus and oodles of soft landing mats that the children got to use whilst they experienced gymnastics moves just like their sporting heroes from rolls, jumps, cartwheels and tumbles, through to somersaults for the more advanced! Watched in awe by their parents and taught by Amanda’s team of coaching experts who are all from the Surrey area.
NEW FARNHAM GYM CLUB
Amanda is very pleased to be operating her NEW franchise on Sundays in Farnham. She said,
“I am so excited to be starting my very own Flair Gym Club in Farnham. Having competed as a trampolinist from a very young age, I feel like gymnastics is in my blood”
Amanda goes on to say..
“I have dreamt about running my own club for a long time now having worked at Flair for 5 years, firstly as a Coach and as a Club Manager. Becoming a franchise owner seems like the natural next step. I’m ready for it!!”
Amanda tells us that..
“We get to take part in exciting events at Flair and I recently met my childhood sporting hero ‘Kevin Keegan’ at a Flair event.”

Sunday was a very big day for Flair and it gives me great pleasure to say that the first Flair gymnastics franchise is officially open in Farnham. I am very pleased that we have someone as experienced as Amanda as our first franchisee. I know we are in safe hands and I wish her every success. I started Flair in 1998 as I am passionate about not just coaching gymnastics which I believe is the foundation of all sports but also the teaching of important life skills like how to build confidence through gymnastics.
