How do I make my gymnastics dreams a reality?

Having dreams and knowing how to goal set is a very powerful tool that can put you on the path that leads to success and true happiness. The children at Flair start off their term by thinking about what goals they want to achieve in the next few weeks. They use their Student Training Diaries to help them and their Coaches guide them too.

The children map out the goals that they want to achieve and write in the target date that they want to achieve these goals by. We find out why this goal is a MUST for them and then we help them make their gymnastics dreams a reality.

How do I make my gymnastics dreams a reality

My dreams and visions for Flair have been very strong right from the beginning. I have a dream of there being a Flair Club in every town in the UK. It’s super important to dream big! As the popular quote goes “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you’ll land among the stars!” Believe me, I have no intention of missing. My vision is to build children’s confidence by providing the finest in gymnastics tuition at clubs across the UK and yes, I aim for there to be one in every town.

Someone else who knows how to goal set and make her gymnastics dreams a reality is Flair Club Manager Amanda Williams. This month we have BIG NEWS!! Drumroll please…We are opening our very first Flair franchise at FarnhamClub Farnham will be owned and operated by Amanda and will be opening it’s doors on Sunday 23rd April at All Hallows School in Farnham. Amanda says,
“I have always wanted to have my own gym club and now my dreams are about to be realised.”

I feel as if my dream for Flair is coming to fruition too as we open our 5th Club. I just know that this is the start of something MASSIVE and it’s SO exhilarating! With 2 more franchises opening in September and another 5 planned next year I’m feeling invigorated.

I love the Spring. It’s the best time to start new projects, spring clean your home and your mind and blow the cobwebs away. As the sun comes in through your windows it leaves you feeling refreshed and optimistic. This is the perfect time to spring into action!

You can do anything you want! I promise you. If you didn’t manage to stick to your New Year’s Resolution, like 95% of the population, it’s time to get re-motivated. Read these quotesand be inspired: (their source is anonymous, but we really like them here at Flair)

“You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.”

“We cannot start over, but we can begin now and make a new ending.”

“Every story has an end, but in life every story has a new beginning.”

“Today forget your past, forgive yourself and begin again.

“Do not wait until the conditions are perfect to begin. Beginning makes the conditions perfect.”

How do I make my gymnastics dreams a realityGoal Setting in Training Diaries

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is get started but once you take that first step everything will start to fall into place. I encourage you to write your goals down (as we do with each member in their training diary). Write them in the present tense, as if you have already achieved them and put a deadline next to your goal. Because “Goals are dreams with deadlines.” And read your goals out loud on a daily basis. This really tricks your mind into believing that you have already achieved your dreams.

your ambitions again.

How do I make my gymnastics dreams a realityMartin Luther King

As Martin Luther King said in his famous speech in 1963, “I have a dream.”
We all have dreams and visions for the future. It’s time to make them a reality.

If you think running a Flair franchise could be your way of making your gymnastics dreams a reality please do get in touch.
We’d love to answer any of your questions.

You might be a gymnastics or trampolining coach, just like Amanda, who is ready to take on the next challenge. Or a school teacher who could potentially run a Flair franchise at their school, after school on a week day or at the weekend. Or maybe you are a mum with an interest in gymnastics who is keen to launch their own business in the exciting and growing area of Kids Clubs.
It’s a great opportunity and it’s fun too!
